Defined by knowing and being known
The church is a place for broken people. No one is perfect. If you think you are perfect, I feel sorry for you. The daily task of masking your sin is a stressful thing. As the Church, which is anyone in the world who is following Jesus, we should be about lovingly helping each other work through our faith.
If someone you know needs help, help them! Helping each other takes a sense of humility on both sides. To be willing to help and willing to receive help. Knowing someone means being involved in life. The good and the bad. Let people help you and step up to the opportunity to help other people.
6 Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. 2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. 3 If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important. -Galatians 6:1-3
