Responsibility resources us to move forward.
Everyone of us is wired a certain way. From the things we like, our desires, our natural ability and even how we interact socially. We all have a certain combination of skills that makes you uniquely you. What I want you to do today is to spend a few minutes evaluating your self. Write down the things you love to do and the things that come naturally to you. Ask your self this question, What are three things that make my day when I get to do them?
After you have spent a few minutes on you, let me tell you why you love doing these three things. God made you for a purpose. He has built you with a sweet spot and when you connect your gift with His mission you hit the ball out of the park every time! Embrace they way God has wired you don’t desire someone else’s gifts, step into yours.
When you follow Jesus, He gives you a responsibility to be on board with His mission. You are a specialist. You have a role to play. You have a gift. Find your place and step into the responsibility God has given you to accomplish His mission.
11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. -Ephesians 4:11-13
