We believe the Bible is God’s word.

“A disciple is someone who accepts and helps to spread the teaching of someone famous.”-Merriam-Webster So when you hear some say go make disciples, they are saying take this teaching and teach someone else. So the mark of a disciple of Jesus is that they accept the teaching of Jesus and they go tell someone else the teachings of Jesus. We can read the teachings of Jesus for ourselves in the Bible. We can decide if we believe or not based on the teachings we are given. Jesus tells us that if we believe in His teaching we will do what He says. You can actually know what He said to do if you read the Bible. God has given us His word so we can know what His teachings are and we can teach other people.

We can point people to the truth. We can show people with our actions and our words what is the truth about Jesus. Do you accept the teachings of Jesus? If you are not sure maybe you should read through the book of John with us and decide if you believe the teachings of Jesus. If you do believe, who are you sharing the truth with? Jesus has called His followers to one mission and that is to go and make disciples. Are you making disciples?

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John 8:31-32
