Worship is not singing songs. Worship is not showing up to a gathering of people have songs sung to us and a speaker speak to us. Worship is so much more than the little box we have put it in. Here is a good definition of worship.
And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. -Romans 12:1-2
Do you daily give your life to God?
Do you make sacrifices for God?
Do you give God your best or just the leftovers?
Do you let God change you everyday?
Do you let God change the way you think?
Do you live to do what God wants you to do?
Do you live God’s plan for your life?
Answering YES to these questions is how you worship God. It’s not easily wrapped into an hour a week. Worship is living our lives radiating Jesus.
